I had a serious problem with this company early last winter. One of their technicians was here to do a routine cleaning and servicing. When he arrived the furnace was working. He worked on it for half an hour, and then told me that I needed a new furnace. Lucky for me, they had one on sale for "only $5500". The furnace was now inoperable and smoked when turned on.
I have a friend who runs a heating/plumbing business in town. I asked him to take a look. He found that a metal plate was covering the heat converter and blocking the exhaust from the furnace. He told me that the furnace was good for another century or so, being made of cast iron.
I had used the oil company for many years, and it seemed that every time they came something "needed repair". They were racking up one or two hundred dollars a year.
Use this company with caution!
